Museum of Contemporary Arts Santa Barbara Car Raffle is a large fundraiser. The raffle aims to raise funds for Museum of Contemporary Arts Santa Barbara. MCASB advances creativity and inspires critical thinking through meaningful engagement with the art of our time. In addition to supporting MCASB, the raffle will be giving away a choice between choice between a BMW 5 Series, Land Rover Range Rover Evoque, Porsche 718 Cayman or $50,000.

No. Pursuant to California statutory regulations and to section 320.5 of the Penal Code, charitable raffle tickets may not be sold or accepted on the internet.
At least two weeks. All tickets purchased before an entry deadline are included in a drawing even if the customer’s portion of the ticket arrives after the drawing date.
Receipts are delivered within 5 minutes after an order is processed to the email address provided at the time of entry. If you did not receive your email receipt, check your SPAM folder or add office@SBCarRaffle.com as a trusted name in your address book.
Yes it is. In the summer of 2001, the California Legislature amended the state constitution to allow eligible non-profit organizations to conduct raffles as a means of raising funds. Museum of Contemporary Art Santa Barbara is registered with the California Attorney General’s Office to conduct this charitable raffle.
Yes, an independent raffle auditor will audit the raffle as well as supervise the drawing.
Tickets are $100 each, 3-packs for $250, or 5-packs for $375.
Add-On Tickets are one for $10, 5-pack for $25, or 15-pack for $50.
Add-On Prize: Winner will be awarded a sum equal to half the jackpot of the add-on bonus drawing paid from non-raffle funds. Add-on Tickets must be purchased in conjunction with your raffle ticket.
You may buy as many tickets as you like.
Only 4,000 Grand Prize Tickets will be sold. The chances of winning are based on that number. If fewer tickets are sold, the chances of winning the Grand Prize improves. Purchasing more than one ticket increases the chances of winning.
The odds of winning the Grand Prize Car are based on the number of tickets sold. If all 4,000 Grand Prize tickets are sold, the odds of winning the Grand Prize is 1 in 4,000. If fewer Grand Prize tickets are sold, the chance of winning the Grand Prize and all secondary prizes improves.
There are 24 other prizes, making the odds of winning a prize 1 in 160.
Guidelines for purchasing Add-On Tickets are as follows:
Add-On Prize: Winner will be awarded a sum equal to half of the jackpot.*
*Prize is calculated based on half of gross add-on revenue. Funds used to pay this prize come from non-raffle funds in compliance with CA Penal Code Section 320.5.

The raffle begins on April 30, 2019 and ends on May 23, 2019. If all 4,000 tickets are sold before the May 23, 2019 deadline, the raffle will end sooner.
The Grand Prize Drawing will be held on June 7, 2019.
The winners will be notified by phone or email based on the contact information provided at the time of ticket purchase. The winning names will also be posted on this website shortly after the drawing.
Anyone 18 years of age or older at the time of the purchase may enter. MCASB employees, members of the Board of Directors, authorized agents and employees thereof, consultants, attorneys, independent accountant firm, their immediate family (or significant others living in the same household) are excluded from participating and are not eligible to win a prize. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. The Raffle is void where prohibited or restricted by law. An affidavit of eligibility, provided by MCASB, may be required from prize winners.
No. The IRS does not allow raffle tickets to be a tax-deductible contribution.
Yes. In addition, Museum of Contemporary Art Santa Barbara will withhold required federal taxes for the Grand Prize as it is over $5,000 in accordance with federal law. The Grand Prize Winner will be required to submit an IRS Form W-2G in order to be awarded the prize.

Prize winners will be contacted according to the contact information provided at the time of ticket purchase. In addition to a list of winners posted on the Museum of Contemporary Art Santa Barbara raffle web site, a list of winners may be obtained from MCASB by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: MCASB Car Raffle, P.O. Box 61809, Santa Barbara, CA 93160-1809, within one week of the Grand Prize Drawing date.
